Club Orleans

8249 SW 10th Ave, Topeka

On March 23, 2012, Club Orleans became an after hours gentlemen's club where patrons bring their own alcohol and enjoy adult entertainment with beautiful ladies from 1:30 a.m. until 5 a.m. in the morning. In addition to the entertainment, there will be an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet.

Wild Horse Saloon

3249 S.W. Topeka Blvd., Topeka

Saddle up next to one of four bars -- two main bars and two satellite operations that dole out beer and shots. The slogan is "where Topeka parties at night," and the partying picks up as most good little cowboys and cowgirls are headed for bed. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and by 10 p.m. the dance floor is full. It’s especially busy on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Brass Rail Tavern

401 NE Emmett St, Topeka

The bar was established at the end of prohibition in the historic Oakland neighborhood. Owner Robert Stevens says he serves the coldest beer and the best barbeque in town, plus free popcorn. The courtyard, finished in 2008, allows for big parties and live music once a month. It's a cool, laid-back neighorhood bar. Nice people find a home here, Stevens said.

Terry's Bar & Grill

522 S.W. 6th Ave., Topeka

You never know who you'll run into at Terry's -- the kind of place where legislators and judges dine next to construction workers and pipe fitters as journalists watch. It's lively, smoky and unpretentious. Yet, it's friendly in that "Cheers" sort of way. A comfortable place to kick back with a pitcher of domestic beer and take in the scene.

Oscar's

1424 S.W. Lane St., Topeka

Oscar's is one of the original College Hill bars. It has daily drink and food specials, serving burgers, fries, roast beef, and mashed potatoes and gravy. College students hang out here, but a number of older regulars also frequent Oscar's.

Ichabod Laundra Bar

1501 S.W. 21st, Topeka

The only place in town where you can kick back with a cold one while your clothes run through the cold cycle. The Ichabod Laundra Bar, around since 1988, is a unique place to wash clothes and drink beer. New owner Jason McDaneld hopes to improve and expand the bar in the future. Change for laundry available. The place has more than a dozen washers and driers in different sizes.

CG's Lounge

501 N.W. Lyman Road, Topeka

CG's is very friendly, a place where everybody knows everybody. The bar opened in February 2008 and serves bottled beer and mixed drinks, nothing on tap.
