Located east of Topeka at the intersection of US-40 Highway and Shadden Rd., The Fantasy -- once the site of a popular restaurant -- is a laid-back, country getaway with cold drinks and hot dancers. It also was the birthplace of Baby Dolls, now located in South Topeka.

Moose Lodge

Once the most popular dining, drinking and dancing destination in the city, the Moose Lodge remains a vibrant social and service club with nearly 1,300 members. Like any good Italian restaurant, the Olive Garden (serving Topeka since 1990) offers plenty of wine options. Not sure which to choose? They'll help you pick something to go with your pasta. Or try one of the Olive Garden's specialty cocktails. One of those cocktails -- the "Italian Margarita" -- doesn't quite sound authentically Italian, but it does sound tasty.
