Maddie's is a lounge serving your favorite drinks and is directly connected to the Madison Street Diner inside the Ramada Hotel and Convention Center. The walls inside Maddie's are uniquely decorated with drawings of past hotel guests.



Michelle's Lounge

Michelle's Lounge -- a Topeka destination for more than 30 years -- is a quiet getaway. Go there for intimate conversation and enjoy the great food (fish, steaks and burgers). Eight beers are on tap, plus bottled domestic and imports and mixed drinks. Glenlivet and Gray Goose, Chivas, Jack Daniels -- all the good stuff -- available. Midwest Elks Lodge 1441

1316 S.E. Madison, Topeka

Midwest Elks Lodge 1441 has been in Topeka for more than 55 years. Members must fill out an application and pay dues. There are regular club meetings, and women's section and men's section. The nonprofit organization has talent contests and fundraisers for scholarships.

Moose Lodge

1901 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka

Once the most popular dining, drinking and dancing destination in the city, the Moose Lodge remains a vibrant social and service club with nearly 1,300 members. It offers full-service dining and live bands three nights a week, bingo three times a week and karaoke on Sundays. The Moose supports veterans activities and the JROTC program at Topeka High. And, yes, there's a moose head in the ballroom!



North Star Steakhouse

1100 NW 25th St, Topeka

The North Star used to be a private supper club, but changed more than a decade ago and opened to the public. It has served countless legislators and the Kansas governor. The place serves several beers on tap, including Blind Tiger beer. There is no smoking allowed in the restaurant part of the North Star. However, smoking is allowed in the lounge.
